About the Artist
“Faith has a sound—and Linda Darling is here to sing it with purpose.”
Linda Darling releases music that inspires faith, hope, and purpose. She is a Kenyan entrepreneur, singer, and performing artist whose songs reflect her unwavering trust in God and her passion for inspiring lives through worship and contemporary Christian music. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Linda is committed to fulfilling God’s calling by creating music that speaks to the heart, strengthens faith, and encourages people to trust in God’s purpose.
Her ministry is beautifully expressed through her Gospel single “Sema na Mimi”, a Swahili song born out of a personal calling to draw people closer to God and encourage them to seek the voice of God in every season of life.
Alongside her Gospel ministry, Linda embraces musical diversity through Afro-inspired contemporary sounds—including Amapiano—helping her connect with audiences across different cultures while staying true to her artistic identity.
Linda’s love for music began at the age of eight when she sang nursery rhymes such as “Maua Mazuri Ya Pendeza”. Even as a young girl, her passion for singing was clear and continued to grow throughout her school years.
During primary school, her musical gift was recognized by her late music teacher, Mr. Chegeso, whose mentorship played a significant role in shaping her early development. Under his guidance, she trained in traditional and folk music—learning vocal discipline, performance, and the beauty of African musical heritage.
After completing her university studies, Linda enrolled at Word of Life Christian Fellowship Bible School in Bungoma, Kenya. There, she joined the church choir under the leadership of Pastor Dodzweit, where regular rehearsals and ministry opportunities strengthened her vocals, deepened her understanding of worship, and prepared her for the calling God placed on her life.
Today, Linda lives and works in Dubai, balancing her career as an entrepreneur with her music ministry. In Dubai, she experienced a renewed calling from God to fully dedicate herself to recording and releasing music that glorifies Him. Since then, she has remained committed to faithfully completing that assignment through every song she creates.
Linda’s music is centered on faith, encouragement, and authentic worship. Her first Gospel release “Sema na Mimi” represents the heart of her ministry—her desire to inspire listeners to develop a deeper relationship with God.
She has also expanded her catalogue with Afro-inspired contemporary music, including Amapiano singles such as “Lost in Loving You”, “Nimefunikwa”, and “Take The Lead”. These songs showcase her versatility as an artist while reflecting her ability to connect with diverse audiences.
All of Linda Darling’s music is available on YouTube and major digital streaming platforms worldwide.
Linda believes gospel music is a powerful gift that can transform lives, unite communities, and spread hope across generations. She is passionate about collaborating with gifted Kenyan and international artists to create meaningful gospel music that leaves a lasting impact.
As a proud Kenyan, Linda is also passionate about nurturing Kenya’s creative industry. She believes the nation is rich with exceptional talent and untapped potential—and she hopes to use her platform to create opportunities, encourage emerging artists, and contribute to the continued growth of African music on the global stage.
